Wycombe Away

Well, i have not been to many away games this year so far but for me Wycombe is nearer, marginally, than going to home games so this was one not to miss. Not been to Adams Park since our Non-League days although a colleague from work's daughter lives at Gerrards Cross which is just round the corner.

Bought a new Sat Nav the other day and this was its first real test. It does take a bit of getting used to following the instuctions and the trip there did go wrong a couple of times but not seriously and coming home was turn perfect, and much much easier that using a map, especially when one is on ones own in the car. Just like having someone with you reading the map really. And no need to sit down for hours arguing over which route is shorter, or quicker.

The ground has not changed much and was a pleasure to visit from start to finish.

We started nervously I thought but scored after about 15 minutes and from that point on looked much more confident, even after Matt Harold's equaliser. Lets hope for another home win next week and that confidence can build to send us on that little run that we need to take us away from the relegation zone.
